Yes, Toronto is probsably a good place to find that work, but you would need contacts. YOu'd need to do some leg work to figure out who to make contact with and what was available. I would think in the TO area it would be much the same as elsewhere - construction, domestic work, janitorial, landscaping, snow clearing, odd jobs, tutoring, boat work, food service, etc.

there are under the table jobs in most areas of employment, but i have noticed them more in tele3marketing, construction and maid services
