You can get passport pictures taken at Walmart or any photography store. It just means that the pictures are a certain size. Do you mean you need to get a Canadian passport renewed from Nashville? If so, getting the pictures is just your first step. Renewing a Canadian passport is now the same process as getting your passport for the first time so your guarantor has to sign your passport pictures, you need references, etc. Your guarantor has to be Canadian.

Even though the 1st poster I think was thinking of a US passport I wanted to point out a problem. Yes you can go into/out of Canada/Mexico/Some Caribbean countries without a passport, but shortly to get back into the US you will need a passport. (This will apply to everyone entering the US, not just US citizens)



When it comes to the US, it's generally easy to leave, but it's going to become a bit harder to return/enter shortly.

A passport is a passport. Also, you don't need one to get into Canada or Mexico. Maybe you don't need one some places in the Carribean? Otherwise, yeah you do need one. You CAN go to Canada w/o one, but it's fun to get one so you're ready to go travelling at the drop of a hat!! Also, you can get passport pictures almost anywhere; but they do take them at post offices too.

Print the photo specifications from the Passport Office's web site and take them to any place that does passport photos. Most places will do it no problem as long as they have the specs of what you need.
