I'm not good with public transport... I suck at looking it up.

I need to take public transport from Whitby, Ontario to Kitchener/Waterloo. What public transport do I use? If its not possie direct from Whitby, I can go through Toronto to Waterloo.
What trains & buses do I use??

Thanks.

I don't think there is anything direct from Whitby. You will most likely need to take the GO train from Whitby to Union Station in Toronto. Then go to the greyhound bus station (look it up for directions) nearby Union stn and purhcase a bus ticket to Kitchener/Waterloo. Its about an hour bus ride I'd say. I went to visit my friend at University of Waterloo a couple of months ago and had to take the bus from the station, it was pretty convient. $29 for there and back.

i've got been vacationing on public transport interior the united kingdom for years and that i could say, that is a blended bag quite. most of the time that is nice, yet you do get the occasional weirdo or gang of youngsters who're as much as no solid. they're in many circumstances in basic terms noisy and stressful, yet there could be circumstances the place it is quite helpful to get the subsequent prepare like on soccer journey days the place the prepare could be packed with making a music/ingesting soccer followers, in spite of the shown fact that it isn't too undesirable, you purely look ahead to the subsequent prepare. all of them desire to get to the journey - they do no longer cling around. i haven't felt the desire for pepper spray however I could say - that is not that undesirable. The final prepare/bus at nighttime is probably to be prevented, based the place you're staying and once you're on your guy or woman. yet i know the way you experience. i've got lived in Singapore on and stale for years and that is tremendously risk-free to commute there at any time of the day or nighttime. that is slightly formidable to circulate someplace like the united kingdom, yet you will be ok. I took my young ones to London for 3 days interior the summertime and we had a great time. It felt plenty safer than i assumed it might. We additionally went to Liverpool, Cardiff and Cambridge - no issues everywhere.
